Please remember to hug your children, wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, etc. The list is too long to complete. As 9-11-01 proved, life can change in an instant. So if there is an argument, please make up prior to leaving for the day. Hug your family and tell them they are loved. I wonder how many people who lost someone that day wish they had.
Of course, my thoughts are with the police/fire/EMS personnel lost that day, and later from illnesses brought on by inhaling the hazardous materials at Ground Zero. There were also many injured first responders who retired as a result of their injuries. My thoughts are also with their family members. So many lives changed!
We live in a world of uncertainty. Children are dying on a regular basis; as a result of wars, accidents, predators, etc. Some killed by family members. People starving when there is enough food in the world to feed everyone (Does that concern anyone else?). There are governments gassing their own citizens, and I am not just speaking of Syria. As a society, we seem to be putting less value on life as say, twenty-five years ago.
Something to make us think. My thoughts and prayers go out to all.
